Wei Li
Profile
Wei Li, Ph.D., associate researcher, master’s supervisor, is a permanent member of the Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Devices at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and a core member of the Organic Optoelectronic Materials and Devices research group. He was selected as an outstanding candidate for CAS’s Hundred Talents Program and recognized as a leading talent in Ningbo City. His current research primarily focuses on organic light-emitting materials and devices. In 2011, he joined the School of Chemical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology, where he conducted research on organic electroluminescent materials and devices under the guidance of Professor Li Jiuyan. In 2017, he pursued postdoctoral studies at the State Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices at South China University of Technology, focusing on the development of high-performance blue delayed fluorescence materials under the supervision of Professor Su Shijian (a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars). In July 2021, he joined the team led by Professor Ge Ziyi at NIMTE/CAS as an associate researcher under the "Spring Bud Talent" program. Over his career, Dr. Li has been deeply involved in the study of electroluminescent materials and devices, particularly in the area of organic light-emitting materials and devices. He has authored or co-authored nearly 60 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, including nearly 40 as first or corresponding author. He has filed over 14 Chinese invention patents, with 6 granted so far. Additionally, he has successfully led more than 10 research projects.
